WELCOME TO THE LADIES OF LYDIA PAGE!
Ladies of Lydia is an organization for families with young children between the ages of newborn to 11 years (J.O.Y.).
We focus on teaching our children to give back to the community and to the less fortunate and needy. Besides being service oriented, we fellowship with other children and families from our sister, Greek Orthodox Churches. We work together to help such groups and organizations as Children's Hospital, Mott's Children's Hospital, Penrickton Center for the Blind, Downriver Guidance Center, Meals on Wheels, and Deaconess Tower.
During the year we host activities for our children like: Harvest Party in the fall and a visit by 'Santa Claus' who tells the real story of Saint Nicholas. Through our Orthodox Faith we are grounded in Christ's mandate to be our 'brother's keeper,' and it, to serve and respect others, while also respecting ourselves and having fun in fellowship.
